1 1/2 cups milk
1 Tbs. kirsch, framboise or crÃ¨me de cassis
1 Tbs. unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbs. all purpose flour
4 cups mixed berries such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and boysenberries, in any combination
5 egg yolks
