1 large egg, beaten
1 tablespoon flaky sea salt
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1.5 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
canola oil, for frying
orange zest, for serving (thanks to aargersi for the idea!)
